5 Things Pastors Can Learn from the Presidential Election

If you’re like me, you’re growing tired of the presidential election. There’s way too much negativity, way too many attacks, and way too much spin. But there are some leadership lessons that pastors can learn from these guys.

·      Don’t make promises you can’t keep. It will come back to bite ya’.

·      Don’t come to a meeting (debate) unprepared. Once you lose ground, it’s very difficult to regain that ground.

·      Look people in the eye when involved in a hard conversation (debate). It proves you deeply care about the issue you’re discussing.

·      Don’t take all the credit for great accomplishments. You look egotistical and no one wants to be led by an egotist.

·      Don’t allow bad press to affect your demeanor or force you to revisit your vision.
