There’s a difference between a vision and an hallucination. Some pastors are in need of differentiating between the two.
A vision is the mental image of the final outcome. That is, what is to be, in the future, after creating and carrying out an often overwhelming strategy, over months, but in most instances over many years.
Some pastors are hallucinating. They have so embraced the vision that they believe it has become a reality long before it exists. And in so doing, they often find themselves in the midst of inner tension and external conflict with church members.
